Seems like a blog should have some introductory language. Here's mine: I started this blog about a year ago, hated everything I wrote, and took it down. Now I'm starting over.
Welcome back to blogging Nancy. I visited because I too have started a 1000 Gifts list on my blog. From what I have read here so far, your writing is excellent. I hope you keep the blog going. I'll sign up to be your first follower and hopefully encourage you along the way! Blessings!
Dear Nancy, Following links, I found myself intrigued by your blog title and entered through the gate. The post of the Pennsyltucky Funeral and reference to Oil City drew me in. While I grew up in Baltimore, my great-grandparents and their children once lived in Oil City and great-grandfather died there. I appreciated the clarity you gave to my own unexpressed views of funerals. I love to collect stories and I'm still searching for the purposes of my life. So, I've bookmarked your site and will return.

Thanks, Cherie! I'll have to add "getting my first follower" to my 1000 Gifts list--and check in on yours.
