Sunday: Sing!

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens!
 Praise him for his mighty deeds;
    praise him according to his excellent greatness!
 Praise him with trumpet sound;
    praise him with lute and harp!
 Praise him with tambourine and dance;
    praise him with strings and pipe!
 Praise him with sounding cymbals;
    praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

Who doesn't love a great choir singing the praises of the Lord. AND we should sing his praises whenever we can for HE IS GOOD!

I saw that you were headed out to her Owen sing and I was hoping to hear more about that. So, yay! Thanks for giving us a peek at the concert. And that verse? I could feel it rising to a crescendo as I read it. What a celebration!

Some years ago, probably in the '70s, this Psalm was sung, mostly KJV, but we worshiped while rejoicing with these verses. I still sing it when I reach that place in Psalms. What other way could I possibly read it? Uh, Uh.... singing must flow. Thanks.

It's Monday morning as I read this ... it's been quite the weekend and some frustrating things at work. This verse and picture remind me that in the midst of it, keep my eyes on God. There is always something to praise him for!
