And he said to me, “Son of man, eat whatever you find here. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and he gave me this scroll to eat. And he said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly with this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

What better food is there?
Sweet, rich nourishment...
To take His word, to digest it as in to let it become a part of our being, rising up through our mouths with sweet aroma - coming out words of hope and encouragement! God speaks beautifully!
Oh, Nancy...I remember that prayer journal and I remember the sweet memories from that weekend. Bless you friend...I love you and you are such a blessing to me!
You took a picture... And a lovely one at that.
Reading Peterson's Eat this Book. Currently considering the sweet-in-your-mouth-but-bitter-in-your-stomach conundrum.
But good golly, I think we have to keep eating....
Perfect pairing. Beautiful.
I know that journal!
"Sweet as honey..." That is amazing.
Probably should make quotes in the air when saying, "You took a picture."
And, yes. Keep eating or waste away.
oh, so sweet...
I thought I already commented.
Anyway, I'm hungry.
The living bread ... food that sustains.
I just started a one year reading plan called 'Eat This Book'... sweet as honey indeed!
Ezekiel. Cool.
I need to change my diet. This looks more nutritious. :)
I love this. Food for thought ;-)
There you are! I hunted you down in Disqus who was hiding your comments from me. They must have thought you were a robot. I told them you weren't. "She's my friend!" I told Disqus. "Let Sandra speak!"
Guess I showed them!
I love those verses Nancy. The picture - perfectly cozy and wonderful.
What's in our "stomach" .... filled with Word after Word ... can then be shared with so many others who desire more of our Lord... more of His heart. EZ. is a good book, a truly good book. Thanks for sharing.
This is reminding me of my new resolution to keep my Bible open throughout the day so I can "eat" the word throughout the day. I love this verse!
