I don't think the way you think.
The way you work isn't the way I work."
God's Decree.
"For as the sky soars high above earth,
so the way I work surpasses the way you work,
and the way I think is beyond the way you think.
Just as rain and snow descend from the skies
and don't go back until they've watered the earth,
Doing their work of making things grow and blossom,
producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry,
So will the words that come out of my mouth
not come back empty-handed.
They'll do the work I sent them to do,
they'll complete the assignment I gave them.

God has been putting these verses before me over and over for over a month now...and here again. May I grab hold of what He is holding out.
His word does the work he sent it out to do.
Oh, I like the way that sounds. Thanks, Nancy.
That first line is one I need to remember. I am always - and I do mean always - trying to get God to think like me. What a waste of energy.
I'm with Deidra on this one....and Lyla.
And you.
And Deanne.
such a good illustration for this verse ( and a good reminder.)
YES!
I am so thankful for it all.
I love this verse and how it is composed in the Message. His ways are not our ways. ~ I'm still longing for snow in my neck of the woods : (
