Intercede as you feel led.
Blessings.
Standing on the promises and preaching to myself:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I read the title of this and screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Geesh woman. I'll miss you!
(I just left my son at preschool for half a day and almost died...I'll be praying for you as you embark on this bittersweet adventure) Xoxoxo!
"Dear Jesus,
Please surround this family with traveling angels of protection, joy for the adventure, and comfort for the momma-heart. We also ask for wisdom for the child and the choices ahead. In your name. amen"
blessings on your adventure
from this momma who's been there.
will keep you in my prayers during this transition time
What a transition -- Lord, I pray that you would root the meaning of these verses in this entire family's heart. I pray that you would especially surround their son with your protection, your love, and your grace. May You always be the center of His life.
Pray all goes well and will be praying for your mother's heart as you leave him behind.
Safe journey. I'll be praying.
"Let us Go Over to the Other Side," said Jesus. He knew they would arrive all in one piece, even though he also knew the boat they were now entering had some turmoil ahead. Through it all He was their comfort. May you arrive safely at your destination. Good job on raising a son who now enters college!
have a safe trip - prayers for all to go smoothly...
I am SO happy for you and your son. I hope he LOVES college and has great success.
May God lead and protect you. Hurry back!
Traveling mercies and blessings for you all as you prepare for the drive back home, Nancy. May you and he part with peace and confidence that God hears.
Praying for you Nancy! May God surprise you with blessing far beyond the challenges of this big change!
I'm praying and trusting God to do bigger things than you can imagine on this trip
I think I was off the grid when you went off the grid. I miss you! Praying for a smooth transition.
I sure have been interceding! Hoping all went well and you are done with the kleenexes. For now. Sending big hugs your way.
Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement and your prayers. I can tell you--there were moments, but I sensed God's presence and the power of prayer. We have much for which to be grateful, and I plan to write about it--as soon as the hurricane passes by. My plans to return to the grid seem to be interrupted! Thank you all again. You have blessed me greatly.
Glad you survived. Trust that he will be home with his wet towels and dirty clothes on the floor sooner than you think! Prayers for you friend!
I have prayed for your mama's heart Nancy, it is the bitter of the bittersweet – the happy to see them grow – heavy that comes with it. I didn't know this before I began blogging – now I do. Looking forward to your "return to the grid". God bless and keep you and each and every one of yours.
