Wrong! Ostriches don't bury their heads in the sand. And, yeah, I googled it.
Today I'm honored to be guest posting over at Ostriches Look Funny because
Many of you who stop by here already know JoAnn and know her to be both hysterical and wise. She's a wife and momma to three adorable boys, the youngest of whom I'm fairly certain would have been named Nancy. If he'd been a girl.
So stick an ostrich plume in your hair, throw on a feather boa, and click here to head on over to JoAnn's place. Browse around and look at pictures of her boys, then say nice things to her. Today we're talking about God's goodness.
(Then feel free to come back here and say nice things to me. Cause I'm kinda needy like that)

I just love that phrase, "wore out her last good nerve." :)
(And now you have to go on over to JoAnn's to get your just desserts.)
You really do have a great gift for funny writing. I love your spirit!
Hysterical? That is SO true, especially in the "almost crazy" aspect. The running around in circles aspect.
Yeah.
thank you for posting on my blog. it's a real honor. for reals.
Nancy,
I loved your post over at the High Calling. And now, I'm going to read you at the ostriches place. You sure do get around.
Loved your post Nancy!! We're on a road like that too, and have been for what feels like too long. It is awfully tempting sometimes to think the trail is all climb and no lake. Having done a few Colorado climbs to beautiful lakes in my time, I know that the view at the end is ALWAYS worth the climb!! You're speaking my language here and I so appreciate the reminder that the lake is a good enough reason to take each next step!!
Nancy, did I know you used BCS for your adoption? I'm not sure. But we did too! Yet one more thing we have in common. I'm linking you more and more each day :)
Great post! By the way, you should submit something to Held (it's the blog community from Hannah's Prayer Ministry). I have a button on my blog that will take you there (If I linked it properly). I bet they would love to hear from you.
What a lovely post, Nancy - and I just HAD to stop back over here to say more nice things! =) I need them, too.
I'm so glad I went over and read that today! Thank you so very much, Nancy, as it came at just the right moment for me. You just don't know. . .!!!
a year ago I wouldn't have known how difficult it is for a woman to want a baby – and not be able to have one naturally. I know so many adoptive moms now – and I know so many moms, period - that I "get" a little piece of their heart. I'm glad you stayed close to God through the trials – and I'm encouraged that you know – and now I've read – so I'm reminded – that there is a lake at the end of the trail.God bless you Nancy – and God bless each and every one of yours.
