After the Resurrection

The practice of resurrection is an intentional, deliberate decision to believe and participate in resurrection life, life out of death, life that trumps death, life that is the last word, Jesus life. This practice is not a vague wish upwards but comprise a number of discrete but interlocking acts that maintain a credible and faithful way of life. Real Life, in a world preoccupied with death and the devil. Eugene Peterson, Practice Resurrection.
Practicing resurrection, counting the gifts:

851. Green.
852. Leaves.
853. A soft place to land.
854. Art show opening—unicorns and glitter and images that tell THE story.
855. Hand-knit socks, gift from a dear friend.
856. Lilac buds. Lots and lots and lots of lilac buds.
857. Army chaplain hero-friend safely home for R&R with family.
858. Rain that falls upon both the just and the unjust.
859. Grace like rain.
860. Saints triumphant entering eternal rest.
861. Lobster rolls at the local supermarket.
861. Olives.
862. Winning a prize from a sweet friend. Happy Blogiversary, Amy!
863. His wrath is satisfied. God is not angry with me.
864. He speaks and I can hear His voice, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
