Back to school today and the uncertainty and the storms that threaten to undo us. Time to give thanks and remember the goodness of God. His mercies are new every morning.

83. That my children have always and continue to want to stay connected to the church. Lord, don’t let me ever take for granted what a blessing this is.
84. Getting to learn a new computer trick while helping Fran. It truly is better to give than to receive.
85. Birthday celebrations. Thank you for the lives of these dear ones.
86. Dinner with friends.
87. Sue’s voice and her willingness to bring music and sit at my piano and play and sing.
88. My son’s friends—young men of integrity.
89. An encouraging report from the guidance counselor.
90. Chocolate chip cheesecake.
91. My husband’s heart.
92. Talking about last year’s backpacking trip and hearing one of the teenage boys refer to my husband as “beast.”
93. Reconnecting with high school friends who were faithful believers then and who continue to encourage me in my walk today.
94. Being completely known by God—in all my dark and ugly places—and knowing that David refers to this as “wondrous.” Psalm 139.
95. Baptisms.
96. Being reminded that God’s promises are more important to Him than they are to us.
